Prices are supposed to be ridiculous though.  Basically in order to pre-order tickets to ensure you have seats for the race, you have to buy a “personal seat license” which ranges from $1000 to $5000 per seat.  To get front row seating on the main straight it was the $5000 fee.  Unfortunately, there’s probably a large supply of very rich people who are more than willing to buy out all those seats leaving us normal folk to sit on the hillsides lol
